Part of our trip to Whitby included some time in Alton Towers.

I went on a few timid rides but lady_bastet & pearcider went on Air.

What with being back to work tomorrow & wanting to avoid unwanted comments from coworkers & public, I've shaved off my nice red Whitby hair.

Back

Got back from our travels yesterday but too tired to post.

Got lots of washing & sorting to do.

Numerous photos taken but bulk are of XPQ-21 (missed some other bands entirely) which I must stop doing.

Better update tomorrow (in work :P)

Just to let you know everyone, I'm not some nutter obsessed with blackberry_roan. tabilities took most of the photos that night.

My fav is 057 though. Mysterious lady.

Cult Photos

Sorry kids, best of a bad bunch unfortunately. Had hopes they'd turn out better what with being able to prop the camera on the balcony but with such intermittent light you need a lens & they weren't having any of that (asked to see my camera at one point).

The Cult

The Cult gig was excellent on Friday. Completely missed the fact that I had a balcony seat until I got there & was sent upstairs. On the plus side I got right up the front & had a commanding view of the show. Even so, the photos I took were mediocre due to the added distance.

They played all their best known songs but nothing new even though they're supposed to be working on a new album. All good though.

Next up Lacuna Coil (standing this time :P)
