Malicious Guestbook Entries

Found out last night that some people have been using my guestbook to bad mouth other people from Dominion.

I don't know the background history of the people involved but a guestbook is not the place to air it.

I don't think any online source is a place to air these things, they should be dealt with face to face.

I've cleared the entries out anyway and hope people are more considerate in the future. It's not like my guestbook is the guestbook for all things goth in Ireland.

Nerdy BIOS Post

Made a few modifications to my PC last night using my BIOS.

Upped my processor power by adjusting the FSB. Was running at 1.2GHz, got it to output 2.1GHz. Not over clocking or anything, just the wrong FSB value selected. Silly me!

I also flashed the BIOS to the latest version, which added the ability to boot from USB flash drives among other things.

Finally, I disabled a bunch of functions which I don't use, including COM ports, the parallel port, the game port & FireWire. Just to clean things up in Windows.

Bradford etc.

We'll be heading over to Bradford at the start of April with ickle_tayto. She has a reunion & we're joining her for the company & shopping.

The other good news is we'll be able to catch a gig while we're over there. Inkubus Sukkubus & Little Match Girl will be playing on the Saturday when ickle_tayto is at her reunion.

The other news I have is that I bought a TV card for my PC which doesn't seem to want to work. Grr!

I also got my new digital camera, a Canon PowerShot S70. 7 megapixels with a slew of features & some key improvements on my old model. Managed to sell the old one for EUR200, which offset the cost.
