Turns out the Xbox 360 is broken again.
What's really annoying is I just bought the VGA AV cable to connect it to my Dell flat panel monitor so I can have HD. Tasha also bought me a memory card to back up save games.
It's not so bad, I'll just get it replaced & all will be right again.

where did you get the vga cable? oh aaand with the replacement xbox i suggest picking up either an intercooler or 4gamers fan cooler for the back of it. you can pick em up for about 25 euros. i was having a problem with the red circle of death til i got one. now everythings cool.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about your overheating suggestion but unfortunately the Xbox 360 was doing the red light thing after just turning it on after being off for hours.
ReplyDeleteMy call to Xbox support did seem to indicate it was some sort of power issue (I had 3 red lights with top right unlit) which is a power fault.
Not to worry, hopefully Smyths will just replace it.
