Got Vista yesterday but only managed to install it late last night.
Still in under 45 minutes I had it up & running. Things were speeded up by the fact I have all my personal files synchronised to an external hard drive everyday.
Vista also detected all my core hardware. I was surprised it picked up the sound & ethernet card but it did.
Only a few bits to finalise & I'll be back on track.

Oh, you've caved to the evil.
ReplyDeleteLinux would have been easier to install and, provided you didn't have an ATI video card, likely would have done anything you wanted with no issues.
I think i'll upgrade to Vista...something something about my cold, dead hands ;)
Yes Vista good ( complimenting vista may be a security risk are you sure you want to continue) but Ubuntu (Ubuntu may be an attempt by a hacker to gain access to your computer , click to continue) still better. Ending the last sentence may be a security risk are you sure you wish to continue ( Clicking continue may be a security risk click here to continue). Long live Linux
