Watched MirrorMask by Neil Gaiman & Dave McKean last night. Interesting movie reminiscent of Labyrinth/Never Ending Story/Dark Crystal, not just because of the Jim Henson involvement, but the overall plot & characters as well.
It really showcased McKean's artistic style with wide shots of scenes, often reducing the characters to dots.
Was good fun though with obligatory "turn evil" = "turn Goth" moment for lead character Helena :P
we saw it the other day- visually stunning but I thought the plot a little thin- which I didn't expect after reading Stardust ( okay having it read to me in bed!) and coraline.
