What an exhausting weekend that was. Went to see Charlie & The Chocolate Factory on Friday evening with ickle_tayto, nephster13, paddywisha & ferrousoxide (Think that was everyone?). Was good fun, quite different to Willy Wonka. A bit more of an adult humor but that's probably due to Tim Burton's involvement. Went to see it yesterday again with lady_bastet, John T, Barry & Zoe. Enjoyed it a bit more second time around.
Saturday consisted of cleaning & prepping for the BBQ. Went to Dominion for what I will now refer to as my weekly workout. Feel the burn! So hot in there.
Sunday morning, lady_bastet & I popped out & got food & stuff for the BBQ. Then it was into town to pick up everyone. Sorry for being late. Bold John! Back to the house for the merriment to begin. The BBQ itself went well, no fires or utterly cremated food. Then lady_bastet had a few games organised which seemed to go down well. I think everyone learned a little something about eachother :) Rounded off the night watching some DVDs into the wee hours.
A few people slept over. Hope everyone was at least a bit comfortable? Dashed around cleaning on Monday morning with assistance from Marita.
All in all, a great time. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves. We'll do something again in a while.
