Had a few nibbles & a drink or two yesterday evening with ickle_tayto, Rachel F, Orla, John Y, Arthur & lady_bastet. Was just to catch/meet up as we'll possibly be away this weekend.
These midweek socials are still kind of odd to me. Never had a midweek social life but it's nice to be able to chat with people in a more casual environment.
Not too sure what way the weekend will play out now as one of Tasha's dad's friends passed away & there may be a funeral/mass. We'll see how things go.
In other news, lady_bastet bought me the Dark Crystal on DVD & a bunch of Roald Dahl books. Not a great reader so I figure I'll work on the kids books :P
